About Us

With almost 125,000 graduates located across 80 countries, many of our alumni have become inspirational leaders, making a positive difference in Australia and around the world.

History of AUAAS

The AUAAS started as the University of Adelaide Alumni Singapore – a Network of the Australian Alumni Singapore (AAS) in 1995. With the establishment of the Ngee Ann-Adelaide Education Centre (NAAEC) and the consequent growth in alumni population, our patron – the late past President of Singapore, the Honourable Mr Ong Teng Cheong – encouraged the Network to set up a distinct body to meet the diverse interests of the alumni. A Protem Committee led by Network President, Mr Michael Khor, PBM, JP was set-up and the AUAAS was officially launched on the 6th April 2002 at the NAAEC
